Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Ingredients
1 cup spaghetti sauce
2 bunches broccoli spears
2 oz beef steak, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Lay steak flat and place broccoli across center in a row on top of steak.
2. Roll broccoli in the steak and secure with 2 pieces of string.
3. Sear roll in frying pan until cooked.
4. Place sauce in a sauce pan or crock pot (preferred) and simmer.
5. Place cooked rolls in sauce and let simmer for a few hours, the longer the better.
6. Enjoy, and make sure you watch out for the strings!
