Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system. One tbsp of honey has a glycemic index (GI) of 55.

Ingredients

2 tbsp. lower-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
2 clove garlic
2 tsp. peeled and grated fresh ginger
1 1/2 lb. chicken thighs
1 bunch green onions
1 lb. broccoli florets
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
.13 tsp. salt

Instructions

Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with foil. In large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Add chicken thighs and green onions; toss to coat.
Arrange chicken, skin side up, and green onions on 1 prepared baking sheet. On other prepared baking sheet, toss broccoli florets with vegetable oil and salt; arrange in single layer.
Roast chicken and broccoli in 450 degree F oven 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (165 degrees F) and broccoli is tender.
