Health and fertility benefits of Chili Garlic Broccolini

Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system.

2 tablespoons canola oil, divided
1/2 cup sliced red bell pepper
1 pound Broccolini
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 small garlic cloves, grated

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add bell pepper and Broccolini; cook 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
Combine remaining 1 tablespoon oil, vinegar, and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Drizzle vinegar mixture over Broccolini mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately.
