Researchers believe that cranberries contain substances that prevent infection-causing bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract walls. However, store-bought cranberry juice is typically all sugar - so make sure to stick with straight cranberries. Pineapples are loaded with vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium.

Ingredients

2 cups cranberries
1/2 cup pineapple chunks in juice
1 cup water
4 oz navel oranges

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.

2. Bring to boil for one minute then reduce heat to simmer until contents begins to thicken, about five minutes.

3. Remove from heat, allow to partially cool then refrigerate until ready to eat.
