Health and fertility benefits of Parmesan Chicken Couscous Recipe

Fresh spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin B6, all of which have significant roles in reducing inflammation in the body, all of which help in the case of infertility. Nuts are a natural source of Inositol, a derivative of Vitamin B (which is often prescribed in the form of supplements for women with PCOS). Inositol can effectively control the symptoms of PCOS by reducing insulin resistance and improving insulin sensitivity. Walnuts are low on the glycemic index. What’s more, they also lower the glycemic index of other foods that you eat in conjunction with these nuts. Any kind of nuts provide a healthy source of fat and a great way to encourage PCOS weight loss. Basil is an excellent stress reliever, and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons olive oil, divided
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chopped fresh spinach
1-1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken

2 teaspoons dried basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 package (5.9 ounces) Parmesan couscous
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
