Ingredients

2 tbsps soy sauce
12 oz cooked shrimp, tails removed
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp red or cayenne pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsps green onion
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp honey
2/3 oz cornstarch

Instructions

1. In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, and ground ginger. Set aside.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Stir in green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds.

4. Stir in shrimp, and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce.

5. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.

6. Serve with brown rice and steamed broccoli.
